Having kids is hard. From waking up all night when they're young to dealing with them as teenagers, it's basically a non-stop parade of annoyance and repetitive tasks. Sure, they're cute and the miracle of life etc..., but yeah: also very irritating. Who knew? (Everyone. Just ask your mum.)
It's nice to know that there's someone out there getting revenge for all the parents. That person is Felicity Kane, a mum-of-two who has become a social media superstar, thanks to her hilarious clips shared on video platform TikTok. The media-savvy mum has made a name for herself by tricking her two kids, Harrison and Finlay, using a variety of elaborate pranks.
"Anyone who has had children will know that they deserve this kind of retribution," joked Felicity. "It allows us to properly laugh together every single day." She's not the only one: her TikTok channel boasts 1.6 million fans, with bucket-loads on other social media platforms as well.

"Life is short and can be tough and sad at times, so we use our TikTok videos as a way we can all come together, be creative and make 365 days a year family time," explains Felicity. "It's also teaching my children skills and drives all of us to get better and slicker at something we're passionate about creating."
Felicity and her kids are dealing with their fame with relative ease. ""We've just spent a family weekend away in Center Parcs and people were coming up to me saying, 'aren't you the prankster mum from TikTok?' and wanting to take selfies with me," she said. "It's incredible the amount of people we're reaching with our silly videos. Who knew that taping party poppers to my son's bedroom door would bring so many people together?"
Felicity's pranks have included pretending to chop her own finger off while cutting carrots - with the requisite amount of fake blood and shocked kids - as well as putting flour in their hairdryer and eating a fake mouldy sandwich right in front of them. You'd think the kids would get wise to their prank-prone mum, but no: they fall for it every time.
