Kiss Cam Lands On Mother And Son And Awkwardness Ensues

Kiss cam is a thing that could only ever work in America.

Could you imagine it if it was a thing at footy matches here? A camera swings around a Premier League ground and ends in two middle-aged bald men with goatees and British bulldogs tattooed on their arms scrapping two lads with fades, wearing a cagoule and Stone Island caps.

Though even though Americans seem to lap up Kiss Cam at the likes of basketball games, there are often times things can go wrong.

Take this pair for example. During a break in the game the camera landed on two people presumed to be a couple.

However, the man begins to shake his head with a concerned look on his face before he mouths: "That's my mum." She then clicks on and pulls the most disgusted look you've ever seen.

The Milwaukee Bucks offical Twitter page posted the clip claiming to to be 'Awkward Kiss Cam Moment Number 324.'

Away from the awkwardness there are actually some laughs when it comes to kiss cam.

Take this Slovakia fan at the World Junior Championship. Instead of adhering to the rules and embracing his girlfriend, the bloke gave a gentle kiss to his beer before having a healthy swig.

The girl, holding her phone in the air in preparation for a Kiss Cam selfie, is dumbfounded to find herself silver medal to a plastic cup of lager.

Now the woman could just as easily not be his girlfriend but rather a friend from way back when who was dreading the possibility of being asked to kiss her mate and was then relieved when he took one for the team by kissing his drink, who knows?

Luckily, she sees the funny side of it. The same cannot be said for this guy's missus.

He does the honourable thing and doesn't fall victim to the nonsense of kiss cams, which leaves his girlfriend a little annoyed.

She then decides that she'll turn to the person next to her and give them a peck instead.

As you can see from the vid above, he's not impressed. At all.

He storms off (understandably). I mean, obviously, it's fake, but it's very American, isn't it?
