This iPhone Calculator Trick Is Blowing People's Minds

You get your new iPhone and there are some pretty basic features already installed.
Photo app, messenger, mail, video - yep, they are all there. As is the calculator.
It's a bit like Wheezy in Toy Story, played with for a bit, and then cast aside and forgotten about.
That is until you're out for dinner, and you've got to divide the bill by six people. Oh, don't forget that Sarah didn't have a starter, and Big Dave ordered that extra pint.
Simple maths suddenly becomes anything but, and there's nothing more frustrating than getting halfway through the sum and pressing the wrong button... or so we thought.
No longer do you have to start again, thanks to 19-year-old Jazz Johnson. The Baylor University student has taught us a new trick which could save all that stress.

Johnson brought the revolution to the world, but does admit that he only found out about it himself when he stumbled across an old Reddit post.
"I have actually thrown my phone out of frustration when messing up a calculation," he said.
So what is the trick? You can swipe to backspace if you type a number in error...
As you'd expect, social media users soon picked up on it and proclaimed the mind-blowingness of the discovery...

It's a 'hack' that actually works, unlike some. Remember the time when everyone believed you could drill a headphone jack into the new iPhone 7.
Sadly, for anyone who tried it, they soon realised that it was nothing more than a cruel hoax.
But with handy tricks like this calculator hack, it leaves you wondering - what else can your phone do that you don't know about?
