The Queen Got Involved In A 'Twitter Beef' Between Prince Harry And The Obamas

The Queen Got Involved In A 'Twitter Beef' Between Prince Harry And The Obamas

For The Invictus Games.

Holy shitballs guys... the monarchy are embracing social media and the Queen said 'BOOM'.

I mean, it's quite obviously excellent promo and marketing for The Invictus Games but fuck it, this is social media gold if I've ever seen it.

Prince Harry and the Queen vs Michelle and Barack Obama. Let the games begin...

So, it all started with the First Lady and President of the United States sending this really badly-acted and scripted video to Kensington Palace...

I mean, come on, they may be one of the most powerful couples in the world but it's so bait they're reading off a script to one side of the camera. At least there's one thing I'm better at than Barack Obama... one for the CV.

Naturally, that arrogant 'boom' from the serviceman behind the Obamas didn't sit well with Prince Harry. So he took to the royal Twitter account to actually tweet the following. And remember, they rarely actually tweet themselves...

Then not long after, Prince Harry posted the following video to Twitter where the Queen herself gets involved in the 'beef'.

BOOM MOTHERFUCKER! It would have been absolutely amazing if she'd said that but I guess we'll just have to live with what we've got.

It's important to remember why they're doing this and it's not just for publicity. The Invictus Games is an amazing sports event that Prince Harry helps organise for wounded former servicemen and women.

It began in 2014 and with the next Games coming up in Orlando between May 8-12, you can see why this stuff has dropped on social media.

If you get the chance, watch what you can, the people that compete are superhuman and deserve every last bit of support that can be mustered.

But before then, revel in the Queen saying 'boom'.
