Have you ever seen your mum or dad buy a brand new piece of technology like an iPad or a Virtual Reality headset and then watched them senselessly struggle to work out how on Earth to use them? Like a baby seeing its foot for the first time, screaming and shouting and pointing completely dumbfounded by it?
We've all been there. Luckily for most parents, it's done within the confines of their own home and so the embarrassment of being completely unable to grasp advances in technology stays in the family.
For 69-year-old Howard Newman, it was the total opposite. His son Mark plastered his dad's embarrassing GoPro gaffe all over the internet for our amusement and, to be perfectly honest, it's comedy gold.

Howard borrowed his boy's GoPro to record his trip to Amsterdam with his wife Joan but unwittingly used the device wrong the entire time and simply filmed himself enjoying his holiday.
As you can imagine, this makes for six and a half minutes of captivating and utterly hilarious footage...
There's something oddly satisfying about watching a man completely unaware of being on a camera he's holding. And then when he gives it to his wife she holds it the right way round only for him to take control and do it wrong again. Poor guy, some people just aren't cut out for this sort of thing.

Mark only noticed the mistake when his dad handed him the GoPro upon the couple's return to their home in Hampshire for editing.
His dad blames it on GoPro and the positioning of the camera's buttons - sounds exactly like the kind of thing my dad would say.
