Australian Woman Hilariously Sends Up Instagram Models By Recreating Their Photos
The kind of beauty standards that we are held to these days on the internet are massively unrealistic. We're expected to appear in every single photo dressed up to the nines, with not a hair out of place on our heads. It's just not going to happen.
Unless you are someone like Emily Ratajkowski, that is.
The model has become famous for posting shots of herself on the internet wearing very little, which is great, but one woman is taking these shots and turning them into hilarity.
Celeste Barber was voted the 'Funniest Woman on Instagram' by WhoHaha - a platform that champions women's comedy - for some of the shots that she posts in which she recreates popular Insta-stars poses and the weird settings that they stage shots in.
It's safe to say that she deserves every award she gets, they're all really, really, funny.
She prides herself on being a non-airbrushed, not perfect person, and why the hell not? She has taken aim at people like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and Selena Gomez as well as Em Rata.
Basically, if you've got an Instagram account and are using it to pass yourself off as really good looking, you are fair game.

It's not just the musicians and models too. The self-made social media elite also come in for a bashing. Anyone in the Kardashian/Jenner fold is ripe for parody.
One photo sees her sticking her head through a chair as a send up of model Bella Hadid. In another she remakes a classic of the Emily Ratajkowski genre by walking a dog through the streets wearing only her underwear.
The real humour of that particular shot is the slightly baffled looking dude who features in the background of shot. Well, you would be, wouldn't you?
Barber is a 35-year-old mum from Sydney, Australia and she got into the Instagram comedy game as a result of a game she and her sister were playing that obviously got out of hand.
Whatever started it off, let's hope it continues. She offers up an interesting and funny sideways look at the capitalist shitshow that is the world of professional social media.
Is it normal for someone to walk a dog down the road wearing their underpants? Of course it's not - and that's why it should be funny.
