Britain’s Rudest Number Plate Seems To Have Been Taken Off Sale

Britain’s Rudest Number Plate Seems To Have Been Taken Off Sale

It had slipped past the DVLA, but they appear to have now caught up with it

Bad news - the best and most expensive way to tell a mate what you think of him is off the market.

Remember last year when we told you that you could get a really, really rude looking number plate for about £6,000 if you wanted to?

Well it looks as if that ship has sailed and the UK number plate CU11NNT is now off the market.

The website that was selling the plate for a private seller has no longer got it on the market, leading us to believe that the DVLA have banned it after finding out.

The Sun also report that the DVLA found out that it had slipped through the cracks and been removed from the market.

Last year, Jake Smith, managing director of Absolute Reg, said: "We've seen a few weird and wonderful plates in our time but this one takes the biscuit.

"It's very unusual for a plate like this to be available. The DVLA aren't really fans of rude sounding plates."

Takes one to know one.

He added: "I think it's fair to say this plate will probably attract a certain type of person, someone with a definite sense of humour, and we're sure there will be a lot of interest."

True story - there are certainly a load of c*nts with more money than sense out there. They were probably biting his hand off.

In the past, the DVLA has banned offensive number plates, including GO66BLE and OR66ASM. And it seems like they have finally caught up with this one - the CU11NNTs.

Smith continued: "Normally they will pull plates like this off the market before their release date but this one must have slipped through the net so the buyer need not worry.

"It's completely legitimate. Even more so because of how rare it is."

Yeah, I can think of a few people that this plate would be perfect for, but alas it is no more.

So you can't have that one, but you still fancy getting hold of a similarly saucy number plate, eh? Well here are a few other options out there but be warned, they might set you back even more.

You could be the proud owner of PENI55S for £6420 according to absolutereg.co.uk, or even £40,000 for OR64SAM.

Or you could just stick with whatever you get, not waste thousands of pounds, and not look like a right CU11NNT.
