You're a wizard, Melania.

Daniel Radcliffe was probably spaffing himself yesterday when he watched The Donald getting sworn in.

Not because he has given Don lad the AIDS virus, as suggested on Grimsby, but because his wife was wearing a dress that was remarkably similar to that worn by characters in the fourth Harry Potter instalment, The Goblet of Fire.

And Twitter, proverbially speaking, doth lost one's shit.

Hark back to Harry, Hermione and the rest of the rabble, and Hogwarts was put against two other schools in the attempt to win the fiercely fought Triwizard cup.

To be fair, it wasn't as fiercely fought as Kegworth Imps v Coalville Town in 2001, where I had three broken fingers (kept on playing - I was in fucking goal!), a broken nose and four red cards (none of which were mine), but it was still PG-friendly excitement.

Girls from the Beauxbaxtons school dressed to impress (sounded disgusting that line), and this included Potter's nemesis Fleur Delacour.

To be fair, if Melania wants to take inspiration from Harry Potter, and Donald Trump quotes mother-fucking badass Bane, this could be an extremely exciting four years. That said, it's nowhere near as cool as Jordan's King Abdullah II quoting Clint Eastwood, getting in a jet bombing the shit out of ISIS. That's words, substance and action.

I actually quite like the dress, made by Ralph Lauren, and it probably cost more than my life is worth, so who really has the last laugh?

Other interesting dress choices...

Lady Gaga wearing bacon and meat made me want to give up on the fry ups and start eating granola, while Katy Perry has dressed up as a Christmas tree in the past. Miley Cyrus tends to go with the less is more aesthetic.
