Police Get Real Strange TripAdvisor Style Review From Prisoner

Very odd.

Can a prison cell ever be described as a 'good' prison cell? Apparently yes it can be.

Sometimes a prison cell can be so good that the person staying inside it feels the need to review it TripAdvisor style.

This is the case for Perry Bar police station in Birmingham.

One inmate felt so strongly connected to the cell that he left a handwritten TripAdvisor review for the new facilities where they admired the neutral decor and commented on the complementary cup of tea upon arrival.

West Midlands Police shared a snap of the handwritten review on Twitter.

According to Metro, the offender spent 16 hours in the cell at the Birmingham police station overnight and clearly put his time and indisputable writing talents to good use.*

The double-sided note complemented the team on 'how modern and clean the building looks'.

As with any fair review however, it also highlighted the negatives and where there is room for improvement within the cell.

Apparently it took the man quite a while to receive his cup of tea and he found a hair in his ensuite, which he was less than happy with.

Overall, the facility was given a 3/5 star rating.

Chief Inspector Paul Minor, who works at the facility thought this was unjust.

'The reviewer has been very complimentary about the facility and staff, but I think he's been a little harsh by awarding it just a three-star rating,' he said.
