A 90-year-old woman performed a striptease last night on America's Got Talent to an obviously shocked panel of judges.

Widow Dorothy Williams, who has been dancing since the age of 17 when she joined a chorus line to travel across America, said: "I never got to be a star."

Nick Cannon, one of the judges, said: "I deem you a star. It's happening."

Simon Cowell gave a standing ovation (with a few dodgy stares in between) after Dorothy nailed the performance, earning herself a 'Golden buzzer' pass to the live episodes.

Mel B told Williams: "I have to say, you're 90 years old - good for you!"

All-in-all pretty compelling watching. I mean, not my cup of tea, but each to your own and all that.
