Take a look at the leg of this teenage surfer who was attacked by a great white shark off the coast of Australia.
I once put on a sock that had a bee inside and it stung the shit out of my ankle. Here's me thinking that was bad.
It's squat compared to the subterranean wounds of 17-year-old Cooper Allen's right leg.
The teen, pictured with his old man Ned from his hospital bed in Lismore, New South Wales, looks to be in good spirits, despite having collided with a 3.5 metre great white shark.

Fellow surfer Dan Webber, a witness to the attack, described the beast to The Australian as a "massing fucking thing."
"He was just swimming backwards away from it. I think it was tangled up in his leg rope.
"I saw the dorsal and the tail fin thrashing around."

Cooper managed to paddle to shore following the attack and grab the attention of people on Lighthouse Beach, Ballina.
The people who helped used a rope as a tourniquet to stop the blood-loss, 7 News said. This could well have saved his life.
"Call an ambulance," Cooper told them. "But don't tell my mum."

Amazingly, Cooper's injuries were treatable with just a couple of stitches. He is to be released some time this week.
