In what is definitely one of the weirder things I found trawling the Internet today, a man in Chendgu, Sichuan province, in China, has reportedly been attacked after having sex with female dogs on a regular basis. Furthermore, the man, according to People's Daily China, was running a dog brothel and charging for the services provided.
China is renowned for not treating dogs well, including a festival dedicated to eating them, but some of its citizens sexually violating them is a new one.
Here is the video of the man being beaten, naked. It makes for a very awkward watch.

There is some controversy over who was responsible for beating him up, with it being unclear if it was animal rights activists or the local community.

Jiang Yun, an activist involved in the humiliation, argued that although it was activists that dragged him out of the house, it was locals that beat him.
The activists reportedly managed to trick him into doing a demonstration as they managed to infiltrate his group chat that showed these violations. He also made streams of his activities.
In what is an ever weirder twist, it appears he was pimping the dogs out for people so they could "rape female dogs in a way that serves us all." A pretty horrifying, perplexing and bizarre thing to do and an either more chilling thing to sell as some kind of service. He would reportedly charge 50 yuan (£5.72) for this.

In the video, people are holding banners that translate to: "Pervert sexually assaulted female dogs, going against morality" so it is clear it was an orchestrated attack on him.

The man has since been arrested.
According to reports, he cannot be charged for sexually assaulting the animals, but can be charged for spreading pornography.
Police are also looking into the actions of the mob.
