Photographers Panic As Camera-Shy Lion Turns Heel At Kruger National Park

Yikes.

Some tourists have put their lives on the line in an attempt to photograph a lion.

In this new video, three young, carefree travellers can be seen perched outside of their car windows as one of them tries to get the perfect shot.

Filmed at the Kruger National Park in South Africa, the lion is shown sat on the ground, watching intently as the tourists gaze in its direction.

Naively, they don't anticipate the harm the big killer cat could potentially cause.

The lion eventually gets onto to its feet but they young people don't move an inch.

When the lion lets out a dismissive roar they are forced to reconsider their situation.

Jolted by the implication, the photographer cowers back down into her seat through the window, as do her two friends.

The clip was posted to YouTube channel Adventure Films and viewers are suitably pissed off.

"Idiots is the word," one commenter raged. "They should be worried about what's in front of them while they've got their eyes locked in the camera."

Another said: "They are risking their loves to say they got a good photo."

"The lion preferred to lie down rather than see the morons! And he was right!" another boasted.

Others just called the video out for being fake, saying the growl was dubbed in.

While some simply stated that the lion was tired and not angry.
