An 'Avatar' Theme Park Is Coming To Disney World

Remember much from 2009? I can only personally recall three things: Obama's inauguration, Michael Jackson's death and the release of Avatar.

Never saw the film, but heard lots of things about it. We all did. It was fucking huge. The biggest film in years and record-breaker for director James Cameron, who had previously smashed it with Titanic back in 1997.

Now - in the meantime whilst they pretend to get anywhere near production of a sequel - Disney has decided to create a theme-park based upon the film. In particular, its setting, Pandora.

You can't argue that it looks impressive, even if it does whiff a bit of "total fucking waste of money".

Saying that, it'll probably generate all that money back, to be fair.
