Apparently triple-decker roundabouts are a thing because Britain has just started building one.
The roundabout, setting us back a hefty £75 million, will see the A19 lowered underneath the A1058 Coast Road in Tyneside.

Due for completion at the end of March 2019, the aim of the roundabout is to reduce congestion through the Tyne Tunnel.

It will help those wanting to drive straight on who in the past have had to queue on the roundabout as it stands.

The project is part of the government's £15 billion road investment programme.
It's going towards that Northern Powerhouse we hear so much about.
