You might have thought that Instagram wasn't really worth anyone's time as it edges closer and closer to becoming Snapchat and all the rest of it. You might have thought of it as just another overpopulated social media giant. Think again.
Instagram is worth it, simply for aspenthemountainpup, arguably one of the best dogs currently on the 'Gram.
Look at this guy.
Aspen, a four-year-old golden retriever has shot to Internet fame after his owners Hunter and Sarah Lawrence started taking snaps of him across the world.

The account now boasts over 200 hundred thousand followers.
Speaking to Uproxx, Hunter Lawrence said he got Aspen "when he was 6 weeks old from a city on the gulf near Houston, Texas. He was the biggest puppy of his litter. It was Thanksgiving morning of 2011, and I saw a listing for a new litter of puppies posted online and immediately ran out the door to go check them out. My wife Sarah and I never thought we could love a dog so much.
"Aspen just smiles, it doesn't matter what he's doing, he always has the biggest smile on his face. He's genuinely happy, and whether he has a hat on his head or some shoes on his feet, if we're near him, he just lights up."
