We've all been there. You've been out the night before, there's still a bit of sick in your hair, but you agreed to an early morning shift at work and you have to go in. You manage to drag yourself to McDonald's, where only a double sausage and egg McMuffin and a large coke will sort you out - but there's a problem.
You have to speak to someone.
You don't want the cashier to look at you with pity, you're feeling sorry enough for yourself as it is.
You're slightly repulsed by yourself; you're a repugnant human being and guilt is creeping in. But you need to masticate. What do you do?
Well, worry no more because Maccies has got your back. Starting in 2018, McDonald's is introducing mobile order technology. But what does that mean? Basically, you don't have to look up from your phone to order and pay for your food.
Sadly, you will still have to shuffle up to the counter to pick up your food, but that's a small price to pay to save your voice after you smoked 20 cigs the night before. No-one wants to order when they sound like Sean Dyche.
Business Insider spoke to Maccies and the company confirmed that the tech will be available over here in the U.K., but also the U.S., Australia, Canada and France.
So spiffing, awesome dude, bonzer, maple syrup and surrender.
