In a pretty great and enviable display of kindness, a server at a Texas Applebee's got a $500 tip on a $0.37 bill.
32-year-old Kasey Simmons said he got the more-than-generous tip and a hand-written letter on a napkin while on shift last Tuesday.
WFAA reported that Kasey went to a Kroger grocery store on Monday and saw a woman who seemed down in the dumps.

Kasey, legend and hander-out of priceless favours, approached the unhappy woman and offered to pay for her shopping.
"I insisted," Simmons said, according to WFAA. "It was only $17, but it's not about the money - it's about showing someone you care."
Upon reading the words left on the napkin, Kasey discovered that the tip was from the daughter of the woman he helped, who was mourning the three-year anniversary of her husband's death.
Kasey is now hoping to meet the family face-to-face to thank them for the gesture.
