When out on the lash during a bank holiday weekend, most of us can barely order a drink let alone belt out a rendition of the late Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah'.
But that's exactly what Yorkshire born and bred singer-songwriter Jade Helliwell did in Leeds on Sunday night.
Approaching busker Dawid Osial outside a Starbucks branch off Albion Street in the city centre, 25-year-old Helliwell asked the guitarist if she could step up to the mic to sing. Soon enough they were performing a duet of the popular song, which was originally released in 1984.
Accepting the offer, he had no idea what was about to follow.

Osial, who has been busking for two years, told me that although this type of thing has happened before it 'never went viral.'
He said: "I've had some awesome moments jamming with people. It happens on a regular basis."
Osial said that after the 'powerful' performance, the two went their separate ways, not thinking twice about what had just happened.
It was only when a friend sent him the video online that he realised it had gone viral. "I'm glad they've figured out my name," he said.
"I can't believe it. So many people have been contacting me and sharing the video. It's unbelievable. I feel blessed."
Jade Helliwell, a country singer from Batley in West Yorkshire, told me how the moment came about.
"I was a little tipsy and stumbling down the street with my friends on a night out," she said. "We came across a busker playing the guitar and he sounded great. We stopped to listen and got chatting and asked if I could sing with him.

"Eventually he said he was playing 'Hallelujah'. I didn't know the song that well, maybe just a chorus and verse. And I didn't know what key he would play but we just went for it and enjoyed the moment."
Talking about her newfound online fame, Helliwell said it's 'blowing my mind'.

"My EP has re-entered the charts and topped all attempts I made with its initial release," she revealed. "People have been incredibly supportive. I can't be thankful enough."
Helliwell plans to tour and continue writing and recording new music. "Who knows what else," she said. "Watch this space!"
