Theme Park Items Are Being Auctioned Online - Including A Log Flume

First of all, who doesn't want a full sized, wooden log flume of their very own? I'd fill it with cushions and make it my bed. Or ice and beer, making it an eye-catching conversation starter at my next BBQ or private function.

Either way - I want it.

I want it bad.

Luckily, Dreamland (a theme park in Margate) is looking to raise £500,000 by fLOGging (geddit) some of their old stuff on eBay. Why? Well, back in December they revealed that they had debts of £2.9million after a summer of transport problems.

Transport problems?! Jesus. I don't even want to know.

They've agreed to a five-year payback deal with their creditors, and this is as good a way as any to raise some initial cash.

You can buy log flumes, pizza/ice cream vans, as well as jumbo Dumbos and a children's carousel. They're being hosted on BidSpotter.

Nick Laister told Kent Online: "The Dreamland Trust has agreed to the sale of the items donated to the project.

"The transport of these items were funded by our grant, we have agreed with Sands Heritage Limited that any money raised from the sale of these items will be ring fenced and donated to The Dreamland Trust for community and education initiatives."
