It needs shitloads of work doing though...

Getting on the property ladder is a nightmare. All we're ever told is that we 'won't ever get a house unless we start saving now' or 'did you know you could add £1,000 to your house fund if you stop buying takeaway coffees?!".

Yeah sound, Linda. You clearly have no idea about my finances if you think I can afford anything other than Aldi's own instant coffee.

Well, it looks like our prayers have been answered, as this two-bed is on the market with a starting price of £1.

Oh no wait... we're still fucked as you'd need to sink at least £30k into it to make it livable.

It's being sold through Robinsons Estate Agents, and they describe it as 'in need of full modernisation and available to purchase by way of auction with bids starting from £1 is this period style two bedroom end of terrace home.'

Alright, it's not much to look at. But it's got all your mod cons as well as a basement, rear porch, and even an entrance hall. Fancy.

Let's take a look...

I don't know about you, but I can really see myself living there. Okay, I'm lying. But maybe once it's been spruced up a bit?

Apparently, similar properties in the local area have been sold for between £70,000 - £100,000, so even with the £30k you'd need to invest, you could still make a nice little amount.

The Daily Mail reckon no-one's lived in the house for ten years, which would explain the state of it.
