The other day, we reported that Planet Earth was to make a return to our screens ten years after the original series. Planet Earth of course being one of the greatest viewing experiences given to us by David Attenborough - perhaps our greatest living Briton. And we now have a second trailer.
Planet Earth was the most expensive nature documentary the BBC ever commissioned and the first to be shot in high definition.
Such was the perfectionism with which Attenborough approached the series that it took him and the production team a whole five years to amass the footage altogether.
This might explain the decade-long break between that and 'Planet Earth 2'. I don't think any of us are angered, though. Any Attenborough is good.
