Being able to literally walk in Neil Armstrong's footsteps and explore the Moon is something pretty much all of us dreamed about as a kid.

Well, unless you don't believe we ever landed on the moon, in that case you're not going to like this article.

Moon Express is a company that was founded back in 2010 by billionaire entrepreneur Naveen Jain. Earlier this year, the company became the first private enterprise to get permission to travel beyond Earth's orbit and land on the Moon in 2017. Moon Express wrote in a press release that this is "a new era of ongoing commercial lunar exploration and discovery, unlocking the immense potential of the moon's valuable resources."

They're hoping to send people on the first commercial trips in 2026. However, the $10,000 (£7,925) price tag might put a few of us off. Mind you, we've got ten years to save up. Who needs a first home when you can literally walk on the moon?! If you're scared of the idea of hurtling through space, don't worry. Jain claims that the flight won't be any more stressful than taking a flight from San Francisco to Sydney.

He added: "The sky is not the limit for Moon Express - it is the launchpad. This breakthrough ruling is another giant leap for humanity. Space travel is our only path forward to ensure our survival and create a limitless future for our children.

"In the immediate future, we envision bringing precious resources, metals, and Moon rocks back to Earth."

Right, I'm quite short so if anyone else fancies going on my shoulders in a trench coat then we can go for £3,962.50 each. Deal? Deal.
