Well, apparently, according to an insider, who told Entertainment Tonight: "No one really knows how long they have been 'official', they just decided to let it become a thing instead of hiding it from everyone. They're happy.

I am personally both surprised and unsurprised by this news. Have you seen the video for 'Work', or Drake saying he's loved Rihanna for years at the VMA's? Bit of a giveaway.

But I'm surprised Drake's managed it, to be honest. Love songs are all fine and dandy, don't get me wrong, but give us a bit of aggro every now and then. The guy sounds like he pounds Valium prior to every studio session.
Maybe that's Rihanna's style. Maybe she's looking for someone laid-back. Someone who isn't gonna get their house surrounded by SWAT on a Tuesday afternoon.
