J.K. Rowling Insulted Donald Trump In The Most British Way Ever

J.K. Rowling Insulted Donald Trump In The Most British Way Ever

Bloody hell.

J.K. Rowling is incredible. She managed to come up with a whole different universe inside her own brain with sports, rules, laws, a government... she's a genius.

However, her latest insult aimed towards President of the United States and resident Wotsit, Donald Trump, is... awkward.

She's compared him to Voldemort before, she's called him a 'giant orange Twitter egg' and she's made no secret of the fact that she disagrees with his policies. That's all fair enough.

After Trump Tweeted this...

...which appears to be Trump suggesting that Barack Obama had his phones bugged during the election, she Tweeted this:

Even for those of us who know who Vicky Pollard is (a character from Little Britain for those unaware), it's a bit of a stretch.

She then followed it up with...

Yup. That's me cringing for the rest of my life.

She's also recently been in a bit of a spat with Piers Morgan (who hasn't?!).

Australian comedian Jim Jefferies lost his temper pretty badly at Piers when the two appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher last month.

The two engaged in a discussion about how Donald Trump should no longer be classed as 'the lesser of two evils' against Hillary Clinton following his recent policy decisions.

"Calm down, Bill. There is no Muslim ban," Piers said, much to the immediate annoyance of Jim Jefferies.

"Oh, fuck off," the comedian snapped back. "It's a fucking Muslim ban. He said there was a Muslim ban. It's a Muslim ban."

Needless to say, he didn't take this well.

She responded by taking the mick out of his logic, saying that if he never read books from authors he felt might criticise you in the future, then it would make his trips to the local library pretty hard work.

And followed it up by suggesting his anger at her could be motivated by jealousy from the 2006 British Book Awards.

Afterwards Morgan played down the altercation, saying that him and Rowling had helped each other out in the past.

It came after Piers Morgan attacked those who criticised him over his comments on Real Time with Bill Maher.

On the show Piers argued that Jim's reaction was a part of the 'hysterical' and 'over the top' rhetoric employed by many followers of politics and that Trump was, in no way, like Adolf Hitler.

He then claimed that Jefferies was 'losing his audience', to which Jim asked the crowd, 'am I losing ya'?'

Afterwards, the former Daily Mirror editor took to his Twitter to silence those claiming he had been shut down.

Twitter. A place for arguing. And dank memes.
