If you're from the UK and of a certain age, chances are you've probably found yourself wondering what Goldie Lookin' Chain might be up to these days.

Well, while we can't confirm what Eggsy, 2 Hats, Rhys and the rest of the lads have been up to, Maggot (the tallest member of the group) has gone against every rule in hip hop and forged himself a lucrative career as a financial advisor.

The Welsh rapper - who more frequently goes by his birth name, Andrew Major, these days - was pictured suited, booted and looking a bit like Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's long-lost son, as he geared up to start a new position within the finance sector.

The 41-year-old, who rose to fame off the back of such hits as 'Your Mother's Got A Penis', swapped his trackies and vest for full corporate attire as he bowled over the boss of a local financial firm and swiftly landed a job.

Major, who now has two decades of experience in the financial insurance sector, wowed Joe Patrick, the director of Newport-based United Commercial Finance and was given a job within an hour of meeting him.

His new job will be a far cry from his days as part of the comedy-rap troupe, who toured the globe performing their songs to audiences of adoring fans and cracking them all up in the process.

Maggot was one of the key members in the eight-person musical gang and even had several songs penned in his honour.

Not only that, his fame as a rapper even saw him invited into the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2006, where he finished in third place.

It was the same year Chantelle Houghton was put into the house as an imposter and forced to pretend she was a member of a famous girl band, before ultimately winning the show and hooking up with Preston out of The Ordinary Boys.

It was a relationship that culminated in a marriage, a divorce and, perhaps more importantly, one of the greatest moments in the entire history of music-themed TV panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

While GLC haven't released an album since 2011's Blue Waffle, they never officially disbanded.

So, if Maggot's finance career doesn't work out then who knows, maybe we could be in line for some more comedy-rap greatness courtesy of The Chain.
