Nope, Jaden Smith Isn't Dead And It's Just Another Hoax

These rumours will not go away.

The internet is amazing, isn't it? Remember having to leave the house to shop? Remember life before Netflix? Remember having to phone people if you wanted to talk to them. Or, even worse, actually leaving your house? The internet is the best thing to ever happen to lazy antisocial people, like me.

Occasionally, though, the internet is pretty horrible. It gives trolls and keyboard warriors a chance to kick off from behind the safety of their screen. And it's a great place for hoaxes and lies to start and really take off.

Finding himself as the victim of trolling yet again is Will Smith's son, Jaden. There's a hoax story doing the rounds online, claiming that he's killed himself. It has been around for a few months and it shows no sign of fucking off, with plenty of people still sharing it on Facebook.

The horrible hoax has appeared on Facebook and has a link to a video, which claims to show a clip of his last goodbye to his dad. To view the video, you have to give it permission to post on your page, which is how it spreads.

Jaden's not alone, either. In recent months the 'deaths' of Sylvester Stallone and Jack Black have both been spread across the world, via social media, before they got a chance to quash the rumours.
