Trance DJ Robert Miles (real-name Robert Concina) has tragically passed away at the age of 47.
The Swiss-born DJ was most famous for his smash hit song 'Children' which reached number one in 12 different countries.
According to DJ Mag Italia, he had been suffering from a 'mystery illness' in the lead up to his untimely death.
Joe T Vannelli, a close friend of Robert, said: "The tragic news of the death of a very talented artist of our time, makes me incredulous and upset.

"I will miss the fights, brawls, criticism, judgements but especially your talent in finding sounds and melodies unparalleled."
Other DJs have taken to Twitter to express their sadness at the news.
After the success of 'Children' and his successful 1996 album 'Dreamland' which included the track, he moved his style on to experiment with different sounds. He eventually set up a Balearic radio station called Open Lab.
