This Guy Didn't Read The Book On How To Steal A $3.2 Million Yacht

This Guy Didn't Read The Book On How To Steal A $3.2 Million Yacht

Here's how not to do it.

This thief in South Florida must have thought he'd hit the jackpot when he managed to board and operate a yacht worth $3.2 million (£2.6m). However, the idiot's 'great escape' came to a sudden end when he crashed the 80-foot whopper and had to jump overboard when it started to sink in the docks.

The loaded owner of the Jolly Roger (real boat name unconfirmed) must have been fuming when he turned up to find his pride-and-joy half sunk in the marina. But, quite frankly, the level of stupidity needed to steal it and recreate the Titanic - all within a few minutes - is beyond me.

"The guy was a freakin' lunatic," one witness confirmed.

Clearly having not read the book on how to commit the perfect heist without leaving a trace, this guy has shown wannabe criminals how not to do a rob job.

Adding further salt to the owner's wound, the thief unfortunately got away and remains at large.

That's got to sting worse than 10 shots of tequila, which is what we recommend for the owner so that he forgets the whole thing.

On the other hand, there is every possibility that this just stinks of an insurance job. If so, I hope the 'thief', who in this case gets 10/10 for commitment to the cause, got a good deal out of it.
