Earlier today we brought you the story of Daniel Fitzpatrick, a 13-year-old lad who tragically took his own life after being mercilessly bullied.

Now, his father (also named Daniel) has released a video and directly addressed the bullies, saying that he hopes they 'suffer'.

The video is nearly 19 minutes long, however he says: "I hope the memory of what you did to my son is burned in your memory for the rest of your life and you suffer as much as he has suffered under your bullshit.

"I have no words to describe the pain I am feeling right now. The parents of those boys, you know who you are, your boys know who you are, I know who you are - now the world knows what kind of people you are and what you will be.

"To the parents of the boys who tormented my son, all I have to say is I hope you never have to feel what my family is going through right now.

"You get to hold your children every night and day for the rest of your lives, I don't get that anymore. Your little monsters took that from me, and my wife, and his sisters."

At one point, he holds up a picture of his son and continues: "I don't know what else to say, I miss my son. All I want is to hear him say 'good morning dad' one more time, that way I can tell him 'good morning, I love you'.

"I used to ask him 'who loves you', he would always reply 'you do' - that was our thing."

The heart-breaking video shows a man going through agony as he addressed the people who bullied his son.

Daniel Fitzpatrick's final note was shared by a relative on Facebook to warn others about the effects of bullying after he tragically hanged himself. Danny wrote the note two weeks prior to his death as he was desperate to start at a new school at the beginning of the new school year.

The note outlines the bullying he was subjected to and how he felt as a result. You can read the note below, however some names have been redacted by TheLADbible.

It reads: "I am writing this letter to tell about my experience in Holy Angels Catholic Academy.

"At first it was good lots of friends, good grades and great life but I moved and went back but it was different. My old friends changed they didn't talk to me they didn't even like me. 6th grade comes [redacted] my "friend" he failed and I failed too. But [redacted] took it out on me. He bullied me along with [redacted]. They did it constantly until I went into a fight with [redacted] everyone stopped except [redacted] he was angry. I ended getting x-rays for my pinkie from [redacted]. I ended up fighting [redacted] and got a fractured pinkie. He got into a lot of trouble as for me, no trouble at all. But they continued, I gave up the teachers either they didn't do ANYTHING!

"Not getting them in trouble even though they did trouble, I got in trouble instead. [Redacted] was mad at me because he believed I failed him. Mrs. [redacted] didn't do anything. I told all the teachers nothing except one, Ms. [redacted]. She was the nicest teacher ever she understood and did something but it didn't last long.

"I wanted to get out, I begged and pleaded, eventually I did get I failed but I didn't care. I was out that's all I wanted. [sic]"

RIP Danny.
