A famous bodybuilder has died after 'falling out of a brothel window'.

His wife also hinted that he had been 'feeling suicidal', reports the Mirror.

32-year-old Sandro Hofer tragically fell to his death in Zurich, Switzerland. Swiss media are reporting that he fell onto the pavement in front of his own parked car.

His wife, who declined to give her first name, said that her husband may have been delivering drugs to the brothel rather than visiting for his own gratification. She added that he may have also been using some substances himself.

She said: "He wanted to jump from the window two weeks ago." Apparently, she then wrote on social media: "God can also take me now, if he wants, my bed is empty, my house is empty, my life is empty."

He was planning to open his own fitness centre in Zurich next month.

Zurich police are currently investigating all possible scenarios. However, two unnamed Romanian sex workers who were held for questioning have since been released.

Suicide is the number one killer of males under the age of 45 in the UK and males are three times more likely to kill themselves than women.
