Many screenwriters and directors have tried and failed to tackle the murky waters of the cyber world and all its amazing true stories of chancers, crooks and crack. But if there's anybody who can change this, it's the Coen brothers.

Joel and Ethan Coen, famous for films like Barton Fink, Fargo, The Big Lebowski and No Country For Old Men (the list really goes on) are writing a script called Dark Web about the notorious drugs site Silk Road.

The upcoming film is based around Joshua Bearman's feature in Wired magazine about Ross William Ulbricht, who went from starting an online market for drugs to becoming an apparently deadly kingpin.

He was eventually convicted and is now serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for drug trafficking and money laundering.

If you wanna read the two-part article about Ulbricht, you can right here. Trust me, it's worth it.
