Pamela Anderson Joins The Cast Of The New 'Baywatch' Film

After rubbishing the idea of a Baywatch reunion for years, Pamela Anderson has now gone 180 by joining the cast of the new Baywatch film.

The casting was confirmed by Dwayne Johnson on his Instagram account.

"She introduced the world to 'CJ Parker' and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation - for the most successful TV show of all time," the former wrestler wrote, next to a photo showing him and Anderson.

"A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #BAYWATCH cast. We couldn't have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us!" he added.

He then tweeted about it, writing "She came to play and have a blast. That's exactly what we all did. #Icon #Baywatch"

Pamela will be reunited with her former co-star David Hasselhoff in the film, as well as appear alongside Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Prinyanka Chopra and Kelly Rohrbach, who will play the new CJ Parker.

Baywatch is in cinemas May 19th 2017.
