Don't go in the woods.

Do you prefer your horror film trailers to be jam-packed or ambiguous? If it's ambiguity you're after, then you'll love this new trailer for The Woods!

Yes, Adam Wingard, known for his work in the V/H/S series and You're Next, has released a teaser for his new film set in, funnily enough, the woods.

This is not the first horror trailer I've seen featuring a lullaby-esque cover of a popular song. But the use of the Police's "Every Breath You Take" manages to work over scenes of rural beauty.

Still, it's a horror film, which means the song juxtaposes all the terrible shit that's probably gonna happen.

Not much is known about the film other than the cast which includes James Allen McCune, Callie Hernandez, Brandon Scott, Valorie Curry, Wes Robinson and Corbin Reid.

The synopsis on IMDB simply reads: "Involve a group of college students on a camping trip who discover they are not alone."

Standard set-up, but a lot of horrors are. It doesn't stop them from being decent viewing. I suppose we'll have to wait and see with this one.

The Woods is released September 16.
