Don't you just love it when restaurant owners respond to bad reviews on TripAdvisor with shots? It's the best. Granted, if it's a complaint about something terrible then they should reply professionally and apologise. But when it's petty - or completely false - I hate when they're all like 'we're so sorry about this'. I worked in a few pubs when I was a student and it's not true what they say - the customer isn't always right.
When Gary Wells, 63, stumbled across a shitty post about The Gallery in South Cave, East Yorkshire, by some moaning cow known only as 'Carol', he hit back in the best way.

She'd slated the cafe, which has 200 'excellent' rated reviews, and said the '£4' coffee was 'very expensive'.

"Very expensive coffee - nearly £4 and £2 for a soda water! Won't be visiting again. Didn't find the staff very friendly or helpful - not sure they wanted walkers in their establishment," she wrote.
However, Gary was quick to point out coffee at his establishment is not £4 a cup.

He replied: "Actually, our coffee is £2.60 a cup, as clearly stated on our menu and our website. Maybe that's nearly £4 in your language!
"However, if you do find this extortionate, have you ever considered taking a flask with you on a walk?
"I bet you could fill one for 60p. Granted you would have to sit in a field [and] you wouldn't be able to sit in a restaurant on comfortable leather chairs and have your coffee served to you and cleared away afterwards, but you would be able to save £2."
Chat shit get banged, Carol.

Still, (£2.60 is a tad pricey).
