Cop a load of these sick images from up in the clouds that one airline pilot has snapped.
Christiaan van Heijst loves capturing the skies during their most turbulent and tantalising moments. From thunderstorms to the Northern Lights.

'When viewing a big storm of Northern Lights or an active thunderstorm I feel very small and insignificant, compared to the raw energy, beauty and size that plays out in front of me,' said van Heijst.

Van Heijst started as a trainee pilot aged 14. Now 33, he runs a photography company called Amazing-Aviation with mate Daan Krans.
He continued: 'Ever since I started my first job as a pilot, I felt the need to capture the atmosphere of the unique views that I had from the cockpit.
'I feel very privileged that I can somehow translate these views with my camera into something that can be shared, viewed and appreciated by anyone.'
I'd love to see these kinda sight. It's a shame I'm horrified by heights, enclosed spaces and thunder.
