Good on them.

There's a phrase for some people - if you've got it, flaunt it. And who can blame them.

There's also the logic that if it's a hot environment, you strip off to make yourself cooler.

So, if you're in a sweltering gym, and are wearing as little as possible -whilst still maintaining dignity- you wouldn't be blamed.

Having said that, this to some is not acceptable.

A friend of well-being blogger Louise Aubery was working out in the gym, and sweating a fair bit. However, despite wearing a sports bra underneath, she refused to take off her long-sleeved top.

When Louise caught her in the changing rooms afterwards, she asked her why she'd remained in her outfit.

"I do not feel comfortable anymore since a guy told me I wanted to show off my body," she replied.

Louise was shocked by the comment, and instead of approaching the man, she decided to question him in a more public way.

Taking to her Instagram page, she posted two images, side-by-side of two gym outfits.

On the left it read: 'Acceptable gym outfit', and on the right: 'Also acceptable gym outfit'.

She's right on both counts.

The post read: "LEM'ME [sic] TOUCH ON SOMETHING REAL QUICK.

"As I was doing my deadlifts in the crossfit room today, a girl I knew walked in. She started practicing her pull ups.

"Counting her, we were 2 women and 5 men in the room.

"I saw her getting really sweaty as time passed, but she was keeping her long sleeve top on.

"In the lockers, I saw she had a sport bra underneath. I kind asked her: 'Why did you keep your top on while you were training? It was so hot in the room!'

"She hesitated, and answered: 'I do not feel comfortable anymore since a guy told me I wanted to show off my body'."

Louise explained how she was so 'pissed off' at the man that she nearly pulled him to the side.

"So guys can train as they want but women would not have the right to work out in a sports bra?" she asked.

"HELL YES YOU CAN GIRL.

"Do not let anyone tell you how you should behave. Sports bra have been created FOR this purpose, so please, do not feel ashamed wearing it at the gym, especially when it is so warm.

"For your health, for your comfort, and even more simply for yourself."
