Did Monica and Chandler Move Into The 'Home Alone' House?

Did Monica and Chandler Move Into The 'Home Alone' House?

Let's not rule it out, lads.

Recently, the urban legend that a still-alive Elvis Presley appeared in the airport scenes in festive classic Home Alone did the rounds. Now, some five days after Christmas, another weird theory has come to light. This time, though, it's kind of true.

Some people have argued that Friends' characters Monica and Chandler moved into the McAllisters' house in the 10th and final season of the hit sitcom.

In the closing episodes of Friends, Monica and Chandler Bing decide they want to flee the chaos of New York City living by moving to the suburbs in order to raise their two children. It's during those house viewing scenes that the clues apparently surface.

One problem: Home Alone is set in Chicago. By flight, New York is some two-and-a-half hours away from the windy city, so... pretty big flaw there. I'm not refuting the possibility of the Bing's taking that flight, but house viewings are usually a very casual situation, done in the morning before a late shift.

Still, it's a fairly interesting theory to entertain for a few seconds. Take a look at it here.

Ok, so there actually is some truth behind it, apparently, with 'stock footage' from the Home Alone movie being used. And some people on this planet are eagle-eyed enough to spot it and tell the world all about it.
