Not much good news is coming from Louisiana at the moment, with several people dead and thousands homeless following a stream of floods.

However, among the awful scenes, karma seems to have appeared at the end of the rainbow. A flood has destroyed the home of a Christian lobbyist who preached that God sends natural disasters to punish gays.
Tony Perkins is the leader of Family Research Council (FRC) and had to flee his home in Louisiana in a canoe.
Oh the irony. Perkins, who has a long and well-documented past of having a disapproving outlook on homosexuality, has now had to set up home in an RV motor following the natural disaster.
In a long list of statements against homosexuality, he once said that gay people are incompatible with evolution and has likened it to a drug or alcohol addiction.

Following the natural flood, Perkins said that he has been forced to live off 'God's provisions'.
Writing on the FRC website, he said: "While activists like to claim that pedophilia [sic] is a completely distinct orientation from homosexuality, evidence shows a disproportionate overlap between the two. It is a homosexual problem."

Well, it couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.
