One WWE wrestler has revealed why he would never get down with a diva in his spare time.

At a recent meet-and-greet, Ryback, now ex-WWE, was asked by a fan which one of the female wrestlers he would like to "smash".

He says that ex-wrestler Joey Mercury told him to never try pull any of his fellow employees.

Joey Mercury. Remember him? This guy who had his face utterly mashed by a ladder.

"He used to tell us, early on in developmental, don't poop where you eat," Ryback revealed in Newcastle.

"Now you kind of see some of the other wrestlers dating the Divas and marrying them, which they take that to another level.

"For me, I tried to talk to all of them, [be] friendly with all of them. [But] I always kind of remembered seeing instances where it goes bad.

"I felt like I was in a position if I wanted to go that route it wouldn't have been a problem or truly affected me, but I've seen it affect other guys."

He told fans that raunchy relations with the divas could become a sticky issue.

"And before you know it, you're riding together, and then, you're hanging out at the arena all day, and it's no good," he said.

"So you avoid that 'smashing' step altogether from what I was told and I always adhered to that.

"I had enough trouble at WWE... with my ankle, I didn't need to add any of that to the fire."
