Has Banksy Been Caught On Camera, Again?! This Time In Israel

The enigma, revealed

He's evaded identity for years, yet he is seen by millions. The start of a riddle? Maybe. But Banksy is the ultimate enigma.

The mysterious graffiti artist, famed for his meaningful and thought-provoking pieces on the side of buildings, may have been filmed at work.

A woman has seemingly caught him on camera, whilst spraying a wall at an Israeli shopping mall - just days before

The man, wearing a white trilby, blue hoody and army print trousers, is seen working on a piece with stencils in his hand.

Although he looks shocked when he is caught, and covers his face with his hand, it's hard to tell if he was annoyed at being filmed, or if it was Banksy frustrated at being unmasked.

It would make sense to be the artist. He's recently opened an exhibition in Bethlehem within a hotel, so is well and truly in the area.

A witness at the shopping also revealed further clues that it could be Banksy. He said: "The mall opens at 10am, but if you need to be there earlier you have to sign your name.

"What was really weird was the when I came in and I had to sign my name, I noticed an English name and said to the security guard, 'who is that?'

"He said it was an artist from England."

Although the artwork doesn't perhaps look that much, maybe Banksy was caught mid-act and his masterpiece was disturbed.

If it was him, it would only be the second time he has been caught on film. A hooded man was caught running away from a Banksy mural in Melbourne, Australia in October last year.

The artist, from Bristol, often sells his work for thousands whilst staying away from social media.

There has been a recent theory that Banksy is a member of the band Massive Attack.

Robin Gunningham, a schoolboy from Bristol, spent five months investigating the mystery artist. He discovered that there were at least six occasions where work claimed by Banksy had popped up shortly before, or after, gigs by the music group.

Or maybe, that's just coincidence and this is merely an imitation... the plot thickens.
