A fair bit.

We've heard a lot of Pablo Escobar recently, what the second season of the hugely popular Netflix series Narcos being out and all.

Escobar, in case you didn't know about him, was the drug kingpin of the late 20th century - at one point bringing home $60 million from cocaine every single fucking day.

Most of us already that, along with all the other cliche stuff. But let me tell you something you may not have known about the Columbian.

So when I said how much he was making from coke sales, you probably won't have scratched your head over the number of elastic bands Escobar may have purchased to keep the wads of dollar together. Well, you should have. Cause I've got the answer.

Actually, Pablo's brother Roberto Escobar does. In his book The Accountant's Story: Inside The Violent World Of The Medellín Cartel, he writes that the they spent an estimated $2,500 every month on rubber bands.

That sounds quite little. I can't stress enough just how bloody loaded Pablo was. His son Sebastian once revealed that while on the run, Pablo burnt $2 million clean banknotes simply to keep his family warm.

I'd call it life goals if his life didn't involve illegal drugs and murder and all the rest of it.
