Astronomy. Astrology. Astrophysics. I can't tell the difference but I do love space.
The past year has been a big one for space nerds, and people like myself who don't have a clue about space but stare in pure wonderment at the stars in the night sky whenever big news breaks about our universe.
And, again, for people like me, astronomers have another nugget of gold for us because apparently tonight we can see Jupiter fly past the moon.
With your very own naked eye, the solar system's largest planet will be visible just above the full moon as a bright white dot.

Apparently if you miss it tonight, you'll have yourself a second chance as the gas giant passes by again next month.
Of course, you can see it with your own eye if you like but a telescope will make the spectacle even more amazing.
Happy planet spotting, lads and ladies.
