Illuminati Fully Confirmed After Facebook Verifies Their Page
You would think the last thing a secret society would want to do would be to conform to the mainstream - or just make themselves fully known - to social media by being verified.
But that's exactly what's just happened to one Illuminati Facebook page.
The staples are all there: the pyramid, the eye, the intimidating and pre-emptive rhetoric.
"The Illuminati is grateful for Facebook's dedication to our goals," it said after the folks over at FB HQ legitimised the page.
"Many pages claim to represent us but are not authorised by our organisation."
In a post last December, the Illuminati said: "A time of global change is upon us. Like the pendulum of a clock, power swings from one side to the other in an endless passing of time.

"New leaders have arisen to guide humanity's future, leaving many to wonder: Are these global changes merely tremors beneath humanity's feet, or are they the rumblings of the final quake? Read our public message to all citizens who face uncertainty in the wake of recent events."
A few days ago they also implored people in the dumps to not hate the wealthy, but strive to reach that stage as well.
"Beware those who spend more time despising the wealthy than striving to become wealthy themselves. There are grave dangers in thinking that a person cannot improve themselves because of where or to whom they were born.
"Placing blame on societal slavery continues to restrain further generations with shackles that are weak enough to unlock, but often go untested. By seeking knowledge and wisdom, all people may attain greatness through their own determination - even if some require more effort than others."
Do you think the Illuminati is real? Verifications are few and far between.
