Study Has Revealed The Ideal Number Of Sexual Partners You Should Have

It's lower than you think.

When you get into a new relationship, more often than not there's a really awkward conversation about how many sexual partners you've had. Unless you're one of those couples that never talks about it. In that case, one (or both) of you feels like you have something to hide. Come on, everyone. It's in the past.

Anyway, Britains biggest extra-marital dating site, IllicitEncouters.com, has conducted a study by asking 1000 people what the ideal number of previous partners would be. To be clear, this is talking about how many your partner has had. Not you.

According to them, ten is ideal.

The Independent reported: "Between eight and 12 was the most popular answer, chosen by 38 per cent of women and 37 per cent of men."

Apparently, both men and women agreed that ten was the "Goldilocks" answer, as in "neither too hot nor too cold".

People who have more than ten partners were considered promiscuous, whilst those who had slept with less than ten were thought of as inexperienced.

Men were particularly wary of women who'd slept with more than ten.

Spokesman for IllicitEncounters.com, Christian Grant, said: "The dating game is changing so quickly.

"I think we are all becoming a lot more tolerant and sexually adventurous.

"If we had conducted this poll ten years ago, men would have expected a potential partner to have slept with far fewer people."

Also, any amount over 20 is a massive turn off. So if you're trying to pull a girl and your number is 20+, you might want to be one of those people who avoids the conversation. Or just tell them later on.
