The songwriters who were responsible for TLC's smash hit 'No Scrubs' have been added to Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You' writing credits.
This comes after many people began noticing similarities between the two songs, with some people even making 'mash-ups' so show ho weasily they blend into each other.

Sheeran's team have been quick to address the similarities and added Kandi Burruss, Tameka Cottle and producer Kevin Briggs tp American copyright website ASCAP's listing of the song.
Originally, Ed Sheeran and co-writers Steve Mac and Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid were the only names featured.
Kandi Burruss took to Instagram to thank Sheeran and his team for the acknowledgement.

No-one has yet released a statement regarding as to why exactly the credits have been added.
It's not the first time that Sheeran's been in hot water over his music sounding similar to other people's.
At the moment, he is currently being sued by the family of a man who co-wrote Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get It On'. Ed Townsend's family claim that Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud' copied key parts.
Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard sued him for $20m (£13.8m) over his single 'Photograph' back in 2016, after claiming that the structure was very similar to that of their song, 'Amazing'.
