Kanye West Is Reportedly Recording His Latest Album On Top Of A Mountain

It's no mystery that Kanye West has a particular way of doing things. Whether that way of doing things is brilliant, odd or just plain ridiculous depends on your opinion, but the man himself would have you believe that all his work is that of a genius.

Kanye's chosen technique for recording his next album may divide opinions, as he's reportedly 'holed up' at the top of a mountain.

According to TMZ, he's gone to a Wyoming retreat at the top of a mountain, in order to find inspiration. Most musicians take a holiday, go travelling, sit on a river bank or whatever, but you can fully imagine that West is currently atop a mountain dressed in Jedi clothing, channeling his inner Mark Hamill as he writes a song dedicated to Jar Jar Binks.

Reports claim that the rapper has been there a week and is smack bang in the middle of his creative process.

In truth it's not actually that barmy - it's just somewhere he can be alone with his thoughts to lay down his tracks.

Sadly, Kanye's thoughts aren't always welcomed with open arms.

Last year Snoop Dogg was among those who didn't take to kindly to one of his tirades. At a show in Sacramento in November, Kanye launched into a lengthy rant about the music industry, Jay Z, Beyoncé, Mark Zuckerberg, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and... well, to be frank, loads of people.

And then he ended his show. After three songs and a rant. Naturally, the audience weren't best pleased and the story of the bizarre show has spread like wildfire across the internet.

Snoop Dogg eventually heard about the incident and took to Instagram to share his thoughts. In the first clip Snoop can be heard saying: "This n***a crazy. I thought he was supposed to be doing a show?" while looking pretty confused by the whole thing.

He went on to accuse the self-styled 'college dropout' of talking 'weird ass shit', which is fair as he certainly appeared to be.

He then tried to hazard a guess as to what had prompted Kanye to rant and rave like this: "I smoke weed, weed don't make you do that. What the fuck is he on?" We all want to know that, Snoop.
