Are You Suffering From Bregret?

Are You Suffering From Bregret?

Some Leave voters have changed their minds and want a second EU Referendum

There are some Leave voters suffering from a case of acute Brexit regret (or bregret, thanks Twitter) after the EU Referendum vote on Thursday.

These people have actually publically voiced their bregret on radio and TV, explaining that if they had to vote again, they would choose Remain. Apparently, some people didn't actually think their vote counted, which calls into question what exactly they think voting is.

Mandy Suthi, a student, told ITV News she had bregret: "I would go back to the polling station and vote to stay, simply because this morning the reality is kicking in," she said.

"I wish we had the opportunity to vote again," she continued, explaining she was "very disappointed".

A lot of people voiced the notion that leaving the EU was a protest vote - they didn't really think that the UK would ever leave but just wanted to note their own unhappiness and jaded feelings towards politics.

Good one, everybody. What a solid idea that was.

As the UK ponders its future, Nicole Sturgeon has said that a second Independence Referendum could be on the horizon for Scotland, and London has launched a petition to separate from the rest of the UK and join the EU.

Electoral services are reporting that people are phoning up and trying to change their vote as the consequences of their actions becomes clear. Again - did you not understand what voting was? This is not ordering a pizza - you cannot change your order. If you asked for pineapple, mushroom, hot sauce and no cheese because you are annoyed at the topping selection and think you are making a stand - that is what you get.

The person with the most bregret of all must be David Cameron for instigating a referendum he didn't even win. Someone get him a pizza, poor guy.
