It'll be pretty hard for anyone to sum up the tragedy but a picture of Chapecoense team-mates, who didn't travel for the match, speaks a thousand words.
A few days ago, in the same dressing room where the three players are visibly devastated, the entire team celebrated their semi-final triumph. They made it to the final which would have been the biggest game in the club's history.

"May God be with our athletes, officials, journalists and other guests travelling with our delegation," the club said in a brief statement.
This is truly devastating to see within the beautiful game. Atlético Nacional have reportedly asked CONMEBOL to award the Copa Sudamericana title to Chapecoense, which is an outstanding gesture.
