A man has shot and killed three people - including two police in the Belgian city of Liege.

The gunman has since been killed by police, according to the BBC.

Eric Van Der Sypt, spokesman for the Belgian federal prosecutor's office, told AFP: "There are elements that point in the direction that this is a terrorist act."
